Kah Kit has just wrapped up his 3 week trip to Italy. The trip commenced with a flight into Rome, immediately followed by taking a train to Bologna for 3 days prior to the Carnevale in Venice, where he took part in a Light & Land workshop run by Desi Fontaine. The rest of the trip was by car from Venice back to Rome over 2 weeks. The regions visited were the Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Trentino and Tuscany. Cities included : Asolo, Vicenza, Riva del Garda, Trento, Mantova, Modena, Parma, Cremona, Bassano del Grappa and Le Crete region.

The emphasis was on getting a feel for the place rather than visiting all the sights. The aim was to make one or two photographs that genuinely revealed the character of each town. The resulting portfolio represents MHT's best work yet : a wider range of subjects, more sophisticated and varied use of different lighting conditions. A good number of photographs from Venice and Emilia-Romagna have been uploaded.

You will note that all the galleries have been overhauled, rearranged and updated with new photos. Of particular note are the Ben Lomond photos taken around Christmas and the New Year which have been added to the Around Launceston collection.
