Over the past three years, I have pounded the streets of Paris and unveiled it’s many faces. There are the famous landmarks of course which immediately seduces the newcomer. And then there are the lesser known secret spots, frequented mainly by the locals. Finally, there are the people who make the city what it is. This tour is designed to show you the process and approach behind my street and travel photography. It is not suitable for those wanting a strict itinerary or have a list of touristic activities to tick off. The primary aim of this workshop is to shoot a portfolio of images that captures the beauty of the city and the richly varied life of its inhabitants. Paris is a surprisingly compact city for all its sights and is best appreciated on foot. Participants should be fit enough to walk a total of 6-8km a day with their gear. Some travelling via the Metro will also be necessary. |
