Bassano del Grappa, Veneto, ITALY
This medieval town is most famous for producing the Italian firewater 'grappa'. It's most distinctive feature is it's bridge, Ponte dei Alpi, designed by Palladio. It spans the Brenta River which together with the surrounding mountains provides a lovely setting.
