Digital Workflow
Magic Hour Travelscapes combines digital capture and traditional filtration techniques with a simple workflow. Images are shot in RAW format to ensure the highest quality possible. We use Adobe Photoshop CS3 for processing. Adjustment of curves/levels, highlights, burning/dodging, saturation, sharpening and removal of dust spots, is part of routine processing known as digital retouching, such as employed by most professional photographers today. Further manipulation beyond this is not part of the workflow. Magic Hour Travelscapes creates images from single exposures only and light available at the scene. We do not use photo-stitching, composite images, multiple exposure blending techniques. HDR, or any manipulations used to produce images commonly referred to as Photo Art.
